Hard top Aero compatibility

The Aéro hard top is an aluminum hard top designed specifically for each vehicle model. This means it's available for the vast majority of pick-ups on the market, and the most common models are often in stock.

Thanks to its robust design, the Hard top Aéro can be used to attach a self-supporting awning. To do this, simply use our modular, height-adjustable brackets, combined with suitable extension plates. In this case, the awning length is often 210 cm (270-210 , 450-210) . Placement must be carefully considered: the awning will protrude above the cab, and must therefore be fixed sufficiently high using the modular brackets, to guarantee full opening of the vehicle doors.

Roof tent compatibility

The Aero hard top is compatible with all roof tents on the market, provided it is fitted with the optional transverse roof bars.
⚠️ Please note, however, that as it does not extend above the cab, fitting a roof tent longer than the body will result in a rear overhang. This can be accepted to a certain extent, but it must not be excessive to preserve the safety and aesthetics of the installation.

The final height of the vehicle will depend directly on the model of tent chosen.

A concrete example

On a European double-cab pickup, it is possible to combine :

• a 270° awning in version 210,

• with an Alucamp 160 or PopAlus 160H tent.

In this case, the appropriate awning length is 210 cm. Placement must be carefully considered: the awning will protrude above the cab, and must therefore be fixed high enough, using the modular brackets, to ensure that the vehicle doors can be fully opened.
